You have been subscribed to a public bug:

1. Ubuntu 22.10 (studio)

2. says none installed?

3. I hope to see no errors, faults, or buffer limit issues on boot.

4. When I boot my machine I receive a few errors (one listed as (bug) ).
They are as follows:

[ 0.178150] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): AE_AML_BUFFER_LIMIT, Index
(0x00000000E) is beyond end of object (length OxE)
(20220331/exoparg2-393)

[ 0.178170] ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.PCIO.XHC.RHUB.MS15._PLD
due to previous error (AE_AML_BUFFER_LIMIT) (20220331/psparse-529)

[ 33.156266] Dev loop9: unable to read RBD block 8

I looked these issues up and found that it was a potential issue with
the BIOS / UEFI from the manufacturer. I proceeded to flash my bios to
the most recent (and suggested version) with no issues -- in fact the
boot sequence is quite a bit faster than previously now.

However, the bug still exists. I dug further into this and saw other
people say the same thing, and one person posited that this issue was
not with the BIOS but with the way the kernel is handling the IO from
the BIOS.

Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty hesitant to use an OS that has such a deep rooted issue.

Thanks.
