I wish the firmware vendors would provide a minimal changelog so we'd have an idea what we're getting. Sigh. Anyways, if this is a regulatory update only they're likely not able to really test that (with a reasonable effort). At the minimum they should verify that they can still establish Wifi and BT connections with the updated blobs.
