Title: No sound from speakers or phone jack, Bluetooth works Status in linux package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: The problem has persisted since upgrading to Linux Mint 22 and kernel version 6.8x. ETA: including 6.8.0-50. There is no sound out of speakers or when the phone jack is plugged in. Bluetooth earbuds work fine. When nothing is connected, three devices appear in the GUI Settings>Sound, and when "Test sound" is clicked, each shows up without left or right speakers. In Alsamixer, the three S/PDIF items have volume at 00, and it cannot be adjusted. When pipewire was removed and pulseaudio re-enabeled, it didn't help-- but it did hose the Bluetooth speakers. Other things tried: running Ubuntu 24x from Live USB; running Linux Mint 22 from Live USB; running Fedora 41 from Live USB. It seems to be a kernel bug for my particular system. I also added the following lines in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf: options snd-hda-intel dmic_detect=0 options snd-intel-dspcfg dsp_driver=3 I subsequently removed them since it didn't help with my
