Seems like the same issue on a Dell Latitude 7420.

If anyone triages this, let me know what logs you need and I'll try to
provide them.

Title:
Intel i915 GPU driver hangs: flip_done timed out

Status in linux-hwe-6.8 package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Intel i915 driver hangs sporadically. Especially in gfx/video heavy
apps, for instance browser running youtube video, or ms teams video
  conference.

  Journal entry:
  Oct 02 14:05:29 xyz kernel: i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] *ERROR* [CRTC:98:pipe A]
flip_done timed out

  Kernel/Ubuntu versions:
  Linux xyz 6.8.0-49-generic #49~22.04.1-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Wed Nov 6
17:42:15 UTC 2 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I believe the issue was introduced in the 6.x line of kernels. This
bug has had wide impact (SoC used in many laptops) for a long time.
