This bug is awaiting verification that the linux-
nvidia-6.11/6.11.0-1005.5 kernel in -proposed solves the problem. Please
test the kernel and update this bug with the results. If the problem is
solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-noble-linux-nvidia-6.11' to
'verification-done-noble-linux-nvidia-6.11'. If the problem still
exists, change the tag 'verification-needed-noble-linux-nvidia-6.11' to
'verification-failed-noble-linux-nvidia-6.11'.

If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will
be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.

See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how
to enable and use -proposed. Thank you!

Bug description:
This patch fixes a performance issue that has been present since v6.6 when
flushing a range of TLBs. Backport to 24.04-linux-nvidia and
24.04-linux-nvidia-6.11.

  Fixes: 6bbd42e2df8f ("mmu_notifiers: call invalidate_range() when
invalidating TLBs")

This was found through the mmu_notifier_arch_invalidate_secondary_tlbs() call
site, which is exercised on boot for Grace-Hopper systems when the NVIDIA GPU
driver is loaded and the nvidia-persistenced service is enabled. Tested
backport by booting system with nvidia-persistenced enabled and
starting/stopping the daemon (which exercises the GPU memory hot add/remove
paths) and running I/O.
