Title:
  Screen Image Corruption

Status in linux-firmware package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
Beginning with 6.5.0-21-generic, my screen image is corrupted.
Adding 'nomodeset' to grub gets around the issue, but a permanent
  solution would be better.
