Public bug reported: The computer will not wake after it is suspended. It will only recover after unplugging the power and powering it back up. After troubleshooting I found the cause to be the GPP0 device which is my SSD.
I've workaround the issue by adding: #!/bin/bash echo "GPP0" > /proc/acpi/wakeup exit 0 to /etc/rc.local Additional info: Exact motherboard model (Gigabyte B550M Aorus Pro-P) BIOS version NVMe SSD model (Samsung 970 EVO Plus) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 24.04 Package: linux-image-6.11.0-19-generic 6.11.0-19.19~24.04.1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 6.11.0-19.19~24.04.1-generic 6.11.11 Uname: Linux 6.11.0-19-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.28.1-0ubuntu3.5 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: pass CurrentDesktop: ubuntu:GNOME Date: Sat Mar 15 12:14:49 2025 InstallationDate: Installed on 2025-01-18 (56 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS "Noble Numbat" - Release amd64 (20240827.1) ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 PATH=(custom, no user) SHELL=/bin/bash TERM=xterm-ghostty XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> SourcePackage: linux-signed-hwe-6.11 UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: linux-signed-hwe-6.11 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug noble wayland-session ** Attachment added: "lshw and lspci output" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2102705/+attachment/5864896/+files/hw_information.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux-signed-hwe-6.11 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2102705 Title: The computer will not wak from suspend Status in linux-signed-hwe-6.11 package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: The computer will not wake after it is suspended.
