Title:
Night Light Blue Light Filter No Longer Works

Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
After the most recent set of updates installed on 02/14/2025, the blue
light filter does not function even though Night Light is still
activating. In the Settings page, I can move the color temperature
slider and see the changes for about 5 seconds, then it goes back to
the default no filter. Yes, I tried restarting my system.
