We typically don't do wholesale backports like this in Ubuntu, but rather a few select patches to fix specific issues (see [0]). There are around 30 commits in that pull request, some of them are features and non-bugfix commits.
If you have a list of specific ones that fix your performance issue, we could look into getting those merged into Oracular, but otherwise this doesn't really qualify for SRU.
