Did you mean "ubuntu 5.15" (i.e. Ubuntu 22.04LTS kernel) ? If so, I am pretty sure it will be back-ported to ubuntu 5.15 soon because I found it in linux-stable 5.15.y as well.
I can track it until it lands to ubuntu 5.15. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2092747 Title: upstream: fix crash when removing device Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: The upstream Linux fixed a crash: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/f9244fb55f37356f75c739c57323d9422d7aa0f8 This bug is caused by CVE-2024-53240.
