Hi Justus, The test kernel finished building. I built a 6.8 kernel for Noble and a 6.11 kernel for Oracular. It uses the same patches that the Kernel Team has applied to their git tree.
Please note this package is NOT SUPPORTED by Canonical, and is for TESTING PURPOSES ONLY. ONLY Install in a dedicated test environment. Instructions to Install (On a mantic system): 1) sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mruffell/lp2084046-test 2) sudo apt update On Noble: 3) sudo apt install linux-image-unsigned-6.8.0-51-generic linux-modules-6.8.0-51-generic linux-modules-extra-6.8.0-51-generic linux-headers-6.8.0-51-generic Or on Oracular: 3) sudo apt install linux-image-unsigned-6.11.0-13-generic linux-modules-6.11.0-13-generic linux-modules-extra-6.11.0-13-generic linux-headers-6.11.0-13-generic 4) sudo reboot 5) uname -rv Look for +TEST2084046v20250113b1 Does it solve the phantom display issue? Let me know if it does.
