Bug description:
Kernel 6.8.0-50 and Kernel 6.8.0-51 both create a second display
device on my intel laptop (12th gen Thinkpad X1C with meteorlake
ultra7 155U, integrated graphics). This phantom display is using the
simpledrm driver. This phantom display prevents the laptop from
sleeping when the lid is closed. Rolling back to 6.8.0.39 solves the
problem.
