Thanks. Weird that the Nvidia Xorg driver mentions the correct
dimensions:

NVIDIA(0): DPI set to (108, 107); computed from "UseEdidDpi" X config

and yet xrandr gets it wrong with "1mm x 1mm". I can't yet tell if it's
the Nvidia driver or Xorg itself causing the bug.

- The login problem is still not fixed, I'm using an ultrawide monitor
5120x1440 and ubuntu defaults the first login screen to 400%
+ [nvidia] First login uses scale 400% because xrandr reports the screen is 1mm

Bug description:
  I feel like I'm slowly going insane. I've tried the XML that has the
  default definitions with the

  <scaling-factor>
  and
  <text-scaling-factor> to be set 1.0

  I've tried xrandr,

  I've browsed all over google, so many purple links I feel like I'm in
  a schizophrenic episode, and there is still no fix.

  THE FIRST TIME LOGIN is scaled to 400%

  and when I login everything is fine. I'm going insane.
