It looks like this has been fixed upstream. I will close it. If the problem still occurs, please reopen it.

It always says I am connected but I can't ping out regularly, can't update my system because I can't connect to the servers, can't install new software, and can't do any work online. This is a no go for me on the system, if I reset my wifi connection ... ie turn off the radio and then turn it back on ... it seems to work again for maybe a minute and then it doesn't work again. As such at this time I have to stick with oneiric which is still working for me. The connection should be stable, like it is in oneiric and previous versions and it is not, this is not an issue with my laptop - AFAIK - because Linux Mint, Ubuntu Oneiric, and numerous other Linux Distributions work just fine with my network connection the only one having issues right now is the Precise trunk. --- AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.24.
