Everething was perfect in Ubuntu 11.04. Since 11.10 (now with 12.04 still in development) I have a random freeze on my desktop. Everything on the system runs fine, and then after a while, 30-40-80 minutes the whole system locks. First time, I was still able to move the mouse, but unable to click on anything. Subsequent times, no response from mouse or keyboard, and mouse pointer is gone. Sometimes I can switch ctrl+alt+F2 and login to terminal, then restart lightdm and for next 30-40 minutes is fine. Sometimes I can't login with ctrl+alt+F2. With Unity 2D is the same. Now testing the system with gnome classic (no efects) and 2 days work without freezes or locks. In the logs I can't see abnormal info. I atach pictures, because, after reboot in the logs cant see theese mesages. --- AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.24.
