I had a nice resolution of 1440x900 with kernel 3.0.0-15 with nvidia-current
at 11.10, now with 3.0.0-17 at 11.10 grafic don't start (black screen at
11.10/3.0.0-17 and 12.04/3.2.0-22).
With mainline-kernel (linux-image-3.4.0-030400rc2-generic) also just a black
screen.
