Title:
intel wireless does not always work

Status in Linux:
  Fix Released
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
I am using a Dell XPS M1530 with an Intel Wireless 3945abg wireless
network adapter, with the appropriate driver. Most of the times the
wireless system fails to work in Ubuntu, except when i "warm up" the
wireless adapter by use ( either through vista or by using Dell's wifi
  finder.

the error that appears in /var/log/messages is

Error: saturation power is, less than minimum expected 40

apparently it is some sort of problem with the driver interfacing with
the eeprom values in the network card.
