Title:
start in low graphic mode for nvidia card

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub2

since a recent update (the one about gfxpayload added by default on
boot), my nvidia card is making the X server starting in low graphic
mode with the nvidia proprietary driver.

  $ cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf

  Section "Screen"
   Identifier "Default Screen"
   DefaultDepth 24
  EndSection

  Section "Module"
   Load "glx"
  EndSection

  Section "Device"
   Identifier "Default Device"
   Driver "nvidia"
   Option "NoLogo" "True"
  EndSection

  nvidia card:
VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G71 [GeForce Go 7900 GS] (rev
a1)

  ---------
If I edit to remove gfxpayload=keep, I can boot with an ugly plymouth
splashscreen, but at least, I have my full resolution higher than 1024x678
