Title: Internal mic./line in has very low capture volume (hda-intel, acl663) Status in ALSA driver: New Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: This bug is for tracking the upstream report. On my Asus n20a the audio device works almost perfectly out of the box with snd-hda-intel (using the ALC663 codec). However, line in and microphone have very low capture gain. Audio does get recorded, but at a very low volume. The output of alsa-info.sh is here: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=188aa65fc63e27e709e2d7f20020d65a89cac0a3 I've reported the upstream bug against alsa 1.0.19. The state of the matter has not changed between jaunty's 1.0.18 and 1.0.19 though.
