This issue is closely related to this other bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1958191 Indeed, the black-screen flickering affected also booting, but adding the kernel parameters suggested in the link (`i915.enable_dc=0 intel_idle.max_cstate=2`) solved that at least for boot. I'm on Linux Mint 21.3 (Ubuntu 22.04) with 6.5 kernel. I tried other kernels (5.4, 5.15) and drivers (545, 470, 390, Nouveau), but nothing changed. This issue didn't happen on Focal 20.04. * Kernel: 6.5.0-35-generic x86_64 * Intel Core i7-7700HQ * Intel HD Graphics 630 driver: i915 v: kernel * NVIDIA GP107M [GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile] driver: nvidia v: 535.171.04 * Display: x11 server: X.Org v: 1.21.1.4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2069163/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
