Public bug reported:

ALC236 has been causing issues since this commit:
https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/5aec989
Sound works on cold-boot but freezes the system on a warm boot(After
reboot).

I can prevent the system from freezing by adding the following kernel
parameters:

options snd-intel-dspcfg dsp_driver=1
options snd-hda-intel model=alc-chrome-book

This does however break microphone support but it makes the system at least
usable.
