Public bug reported: Description: Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS Release: 22.04
Expectations: Nvidia drivers should just work even after the kernel upgrade. What happened: I upgraded the Linux kernel recently to 6.5.0-1027-oem. This broke the compatibility with Nvidia drivers. As a result, I had to opt for an open kernel version of Nvidia drivers (550.107.02) to resolve the compatibility issue. ** Affects: linux-oem-6.5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux-oem-6.5 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2080424 Title: Nvidia-driver-550 not compatible with 6.5.0-1027-oem Status in linux-oem-6.5 package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Description: Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS Release: 22.04 Expectations: Nvidia drivers should just work even after the kernel upgrade.
