You have been subscribed to a public bug: My laptop is a thinkbook 14 g6 abp and this issue occurs on every distro I tried and in different desktop environments. If I quickly tap or hold down either volume key; the key will then repeatedly press itself forever even after I stop holding the button. The only way to stop it by pressing either key for a specific amount of time which will make it change the volume normally.
The distros I tried were: Kubuntu 24.04 (plasma) Linux Mint 21.3 (cinnamon) Fedora 40 (plasma) Debian 12.6 (xfce) ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment -- thinkbook volume buttons don't work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2074262 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
