I did a complete re-install with Mantic, and this problem no longer
appears.

Bug description:
  The laptop has full disk encryption. Entering the encryption password
  is not possible, as neither the built in keyboard nor an external
  keyboard works.

  I currently run kernel 5.19.0-42, which still works. Kernel versions
  starting from 5.19.0-43, including 6.x, contain the bug.
