Public bug reported:

[Impact]

OEM-6.1 1018 picks up this patch which was accidentally introduced even
though reverted upstream.

    - drm/amd/display: edp do not add non-edid timings

It's already reverted in 6.5 and being reverted in 6.1.42, can you
please revert in advance in Ubuntu's kernel so we don't have the
regression for a whole Canonical kernel cycle?

It will break mirror mode for all external monitors.

Here is the discussion on the revert.

[Test case]

Check mirror mode with the commit reverted.

[Where things could go wrong]

This is an upstream revert removing a broken commit, so it should not
cause unrelated issues.
