When I first had the problem, I physically moved the 205 to my newest machine to verify that the 207 drive was not the cause (erroneously it turns out, BOTH these drives are the cause because as far as I can determine ALL pioneer optical drives have this property,as well as optical drives of (some?) other brands). I then switched these drives back to the original configuration. After the problem was solved, I did not repeat the test with the 205 (too lazy). I am convinced though that this will also work with the 205.
