The kernel is 3.11.0-18-generic. A USB mouse works under Xubuntu when connected, and the touchpad works under ChromeOS. I also tried the trackpad under Ubuntu 14.04 beta 2 and it did not work. (Note the following debugging information is for the aforementioned 13.10 install.) If anyone would like me to update the kernel and test again I'd be happy to do so. Apologies if this is essentially a duplicate of any of the non-Dell Chromebook touchpad bug reports. $ cat /proc/version_signature Ubuntu 3.11.0-18.32-generic 3.11.10.4 Output from 'lspci', 'dmesg', and /proc/bus/input/devices and /var/log/Xorg.0.log is attached.
