I've attached boot logs using linux-image-5.4.0-125-generic, which fails
to discover luns down the direct attached QLE2690 properly, as well as
logs from a linux-image-5.4.0-74-generic boot which successfully
discovers in the exact same environment. It's worth saying, as mentioned
in the description that this continues to work with linux-
image-5.4.0-77-generic, and begins failing with linux-
image-5.4.0-80-generic

** Description changed:

We have an Ubuntu 20.04 environment with direct attach QLE2690 FC cards
that are able to get luns mapped and discovered while the host is up,
- but upon reboot, fail to properly discover these same luns again until
- they are unmapped and remapped again.
+ but upon reboot, fail to properly discover these same luns until they
+ are unmapped and remapped again.

This behavior does not exist in linux-image-5.4.0-77-generic but appears
to have been added in linux-image-5.4.0-80-generic and appears to occur
- on any kernel since, up to and including linux-image-5.4.0-77-generic.
+ on any kernel since, up to and including linux-image-5.4.0-125-generic.

** Also affects: linux-signed (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided
       Status: New
