  Low screen resolution - not detecting monitor

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  On my desktop, if I start the system and just after that start the
  monitor, it won't be recognized by the system. This BUG was reproduced
  by me on two different installations of ubuntu MATE. The result is to
  have a very low resolution.

  - OS version: Ubuntu MATE 18.04.1 LTS
  - Kernel: 4.15.0-33-generic
  - CPU: Intel i3-7100
  - Motherboard: MSI B250 MATE
  - Video Card: Intel HD 630 (integrated in CPU)
  - Monitor: HP Pavilion 22xi (connected with HDMI)
