Title:
HP EliteBook 830 G8 Notebook MAC Address pass through doesn't work in
  Ubuntu 22.04

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Hi

  Title is self-explanatory I hope

  OS: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS x86_64
Host: HP EliteBook 830 G8 Notebook PC

  Ubuntu 5.15.0-27.28-generic 5.15.30

No problem with eth network services except that only the MAC address
of the (HP) network adaptator is seen and not the internal MAC address

BIOS MAC passthrough checked and tested with the automatic and custom
  values / no success.

Tested and ok with Windows10 (double boot)

Of course, manual configuration is ok via : ifconfig enx606d3cf22eb5
  hw ether «MAC internal value»

  Firmware seems to be uptodate.
