I typically suspend my machine and only restart once in a while. Decided to do so yesterday because some (built-in keyboard) keys became unresponsive (fn+F8 fn+f9 to control screen brightness, and the on-off key to suspend/resume). I could fortunately use the previous kernel and that seems to work fine.
