When using the Wayland session, by default Shell will come up on the monitor connected to the AMD card, and the second (NVIDIA) monitor will be blank. Attempting to enable the second monitor in Display Settings will immediately and reproducibly crash gnome-shell. This is trivial for me to reproduce, so if you need patches tested I can easily do so.
