Bug description:
SYSTEM
- Default install of Ubuntu Natty 64 bits, followed by sudo apt-get update &&
sudo apt-upgrade.
- Kernel 2.6.38-11-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP x86_64 GNU/Linux
PROBLEM
Inability of Ubuntu to properly recognize the CPU max speed and steps when
the AMD Turbo Core feature is enabled.

- However my CPU has Turbo Core activated in BIOS, with max speed =
4.3 GHz.
HISTORIC
- This used to be a problem in powernow-k8 module, which was already fixed.
