Hi Dan Just an update.
Did updates yesterday and did a shutdown and the fan and the power light stay on and then I have to force a shutdown. I'm on a Facebook group for support for Ubuntu Linux. Apparently there are so many new users to the group and this bug existed in 20.04 but no one in the group wants to share the fix with me so I have nothing to point you to.
