  updated to kernel linux 5.11.0-40-generic
  after update and restart, I received

  kernel-panic:
  VFS: cannot open root device "nvme0n1p1" or unknown block (0,0): error -6 
please append a correct "root=" boot option.

  
  using the previous kernel version properly loaded all firmware again.
