Public bug reported:
Hi,
just installed a new HPE microserver with SSD and four harddisks with
new 21.10 server and tried to create a zpool with
zpool create pool1 raidz2 /dev/sda /dev/sdb /dev/sdc /dev/sdd -O
encryption=on -O keyformat=passphrase
which reproducably crashed twice with the attached kernel message.
The zpool then exists, but is not encrypted.
zpool create pool1 raidz2 /dev/sda /dev/sdb /dev/sdc /dev/sdd
without the option works
and a subsequent
zfs create pool1/sub -o encryption=on -o keyformat=passphrase
works as well. Which is, however, not a real workaround for a fully
encrypted pool (which worked under 20.04).
regards
