Looks like it has been resolved in 5.11.0-34, it doesn't happen any
more. But it did in previous builds.

  internal display goes dark

  New

Bug description:
  I'm on a Dell XPS 13 9350 (i7-6500U, Mesa Intel HD Graphics 520 SKL GT2) 
Ubuntu 20.04.3. Since kernel update the internal laptop display goes dark, 
external one works fine, which is attached via USB-C Port).
  When I boot with kernel 5.8 internal display is back to normal.
