Public bug reported:

I have a thinkpad T14 (20UE) with a Synaptics touchpad. The touchpad
clicks show up in evtest but don't actually work (or show up in libinput
debug-events) and movement doesn't work at all. I've tried setting xorg
to use the synaptics driver and libinput driver with no effect. I'm
using kernel 5.10.0-7-amd64.

I've attached logs as https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingTouchpadDetection
describes, as well as the one from libinput.
