Public bug reported: I have a thinkpad T14 (20UE) with a Synaptics touchpad. The touchpad clicks show up in evtest but don't actually work (or show up in libinput debug-events) and movement doesn't work at all. I've tried setting xorg to use the synaptics driver and libinput driver with no effect. I'm using kernel 5.10.0-7-amd64.
I've attached logs as https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingTouchpadDetection describes, as well as the one from libinput. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "Log files" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1933377/+attachment/5506527/+files/logs.zip -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1933377 Title: Thinkpad T14 touchpad movement suddenly not working Status in linux package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I have a thinkpad T14 (20UE) with a Synaptics touchpad.
