Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: After loading and unloading a CD the system log is flooded with these messages: VFS: busy inodes on changed media. A machine that has this issue spontaniously restarted. I used this workaround http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-529096.html 1. Open Terminal 2. sudo eject 3. Let it eject and then push the button on your drive to pull the empty CD tray back in. 4. sudo eject -t 5. exit which will stop the flooding. IMHO this is a major problem, Ubuntu restarting for nothing is Not A Good Thing(tm) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/198666/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
