Title: N-trig DuoSense digitizer pen not working in Toshiba U505-S2012 on Ubuntu 13.10, amd64 Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: According to N-Trig Satellite U505 support N-trig Duosense technology. http://www.n-trig.com/Content.aspx?Page=Windows8 As far as all the information I got, the HTC pen is a n-trig duosense enabled pen so as Toshiba U-505 touch. It's being a long time since W7 is out of this machine which is running Ubuntu 13.10 right now (installed a few days ago). Touch screen works fine out of the box. But I'm interested on using a pen to design classroom activities to sketch and capture. I'm not sure if this pen works in this hardware but from what I read, it looks like it should. But nothing happens when I touch the screen. --- ApportVersion: 2.12.5-0ubuntu2.2 Architecture: amd64 AudioDevicesInUse: USER PID ACCESS COMMAND /dev/snd/controlC0: enrique 2456 F.... pulseaudio DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.10 HibernationDevice: RESUME=UUID=813ad44a-1c72-400f-8956-d7d6a7bd4a8d InstallationDate: Installed on 2014-02-05 (9 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 13.10 "Saucy Salamander" - Release amd64 (20131016.1) MachineType: TOSHIBA Satellite U505 MarkForUpload: True Package: linux (not installed) ProcFB: 0 inteldrmfb ProcKernelCmdLine: BOOT_IMAGE=/vmlinuz-3.11.0-15-generic root=/dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-root ro quiet splash vt.handoff=7 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.11.0-15.25-generic 3.11.10 PulseList: Error: command ['pacmd', 'list'] failed with exit code 1: Home directory not accessible: Permission denied No PulseAudio daemon running, or not running as session daemon.
