Thanks. That does at least confirm the system went to sleep and didn't
wake up (or did wake up but not for long enough to write to the log).

Have you been able to resume-from-suspend in previous Ubuntu versions?
Regardless, since 20.10 is going to reach end of life next month [1] it
might be a good idea to try upgrading to 21.04.

  Ubuntu 20.10 suspend is not working. After suspend it does not wake
  up. And I have to hard reboot machine. It is happening since last few
