Title:
There seems to be an issue with the new kernel 5.8.0-49 and 5.8.0-50

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
After upgrading the system, graphics issues started. 1 min or so after
booting, the screen starts to repeat itself back and forth. Like the
video memory is printed on the wrong place. Sometimes the text when
scrolling turns into a long blur of unreadable white/black. The issues
does not make the system unusable but it sure causes problem.

The kernel 5.8.0-48-generic works fine. However both the
5.8.0-49-generic and 5.8.0-50-generic has this issue.

The graphics is Intel HD located in a i7-3517U CPU.
I have attached a LSHW log for more details of the system.

I hope the automated tool attached the correct files.

  Sincerely Jimmie
