Bug description:
I have a Gateway Laptop model NV79C. The horizontal scroll has not
worked by default since at least lucid lynx. It is the same on my acer
netbook. This is definitely ubuntu-specific. I have tried many distros
and none of them have this issue. Upon installation of 11.10 to get
touchpad scrolling I had to do in terminal:
rmmod psmouse
modprobe psmouse proto=imps
I had to do the same thing upgrading from 10.10 to natty.
Again this is definitely a downstream issue as I have tried several other
distros and in using them, I have never had this problem.
