(Most CDs work, not this one though.) If I try on the command line: chris@dellie-linux:~$ sudo mount -t iso9660 /dev/sr0 /home/chris/testing [sudo] password for chris: mount: block device /dev/sr0 is write-protected, mounting read-only mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sr0, missing codepage or helper program, or other error In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so same message with chris@dellie-linux:~$ sudo mount /dev/sr0 /home/chris/testing In the syslog May 12 22:34:18 dellie-linux kernel: [ 2237.212710] ISOFS: Unable to identify CD-ROM format.
