confirmed the same issue running groovy on a Xiaomi redmibook(alc256m with intel dmic)， stock kernel detects dmic and drops to sst driver， which won't work at all， disabling dmic detection in alsa enables speakers but 3.5mm only works as mono，solutions about intel sst driver need to be backported if no new kernels are available in current distros.
