Either the module (ath9k) is missing or the "improved" version does not work. I am currently running Ubuntu MATE 18.04.5. Since this is no longer supported, I tried to install 20.04.1. Unfortunately this version does not support my WiFi hardware (versions 13.04-19.10 do). So I am stuck at 18.04 until 20.04 is actually ready to be released. (Is it an alpha version?) I tried a BrosTrend WiFi adapter from another computer since I have the driver on CD. That dose not work either.
