kernel 3.13.0-4.19 and 3.13.0-5.20 (linux-lts-trusty) / no wifi: as a workaround, I can use 3.13.1-031301-generic from v3.13.1 (trusty) (mainline) which works in 12.04 (dell e6500), including wifi.
