Public bug reported: I burned a USB device in my new Ubuntu 20.04 desktop, with `sudo dd if=ubuntu-20.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso of=/dev/sdd` which is completed successfully(I checked the hash). But when I insert this USB to install Ubuntu20.04 on new HD, in booting step there happened a serious error warning:
`initramfs unpacking failed decoding failed ubuntu 20.04` And then the screen become fuzzy and stuck. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1892173 Title: `initramfs unpacking failed decoding` boot error in USB-live Status in linux package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I burned a USB device in my new Ubuntu 20.04 desktop, with `sudo dd if=ubuntu-20.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso of=/dev/sdd` which is completed successfully(I checked the hash).
