Title:
Ubuntu Does Not Boot - Purple Screen

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Dell Precision 7530
  Graphics: Nvidia Quadro P1000 w/4GB GDDR 5

After recent upgrade, my ubuntu 18 does no go pass grub. Tried several
options on the internet like 'nomodeset' etc at the grub edit screen. Nothing
works.
I also tried entering Recovery mode - But stuck at 'Loading Initial ramdisk
...' screen

I also tried log into other kernel versions - no luck.

  Available kernel versions: 5.3.0.51, 5.3.0.40, 4.15.0.99, 4.15.0.43
I am able to get into grub command screen, after pressing esc in the grub
screen - not sure if that will help me.
  Any help is much appreciated.
