No problem. I suggest the least confusing way for us to discuss that new
problem is to open a new bug by running:

    ubuntu-bug gnome-shell

This is almost the same issue as my previous bug with disco, but I've noticed
that if I'm plugged in before I boot, then the indicator knows it. But not if
I plug in while the computer is awake or suspended/hibernating. If I plug in
while it's suspended or hibernating, the indicator doesn't update.
